Martin Evans Associates is a structural engineering consultancy based in Sheffield. Martin Evans is a Chartered Structural engineer with more that 20 years experience of building defect surveys and structural design. We offer appropriate help and technical advice on all structural engineering aspects of buildings including survey and design.

We carry out structural surveys including specific building defect surveys and full structural surveys. Our work is predominantly based in Sheffield and South Yorkshire but we have a wide experience of structural defect surveys of buildings outside Sheffield, having carried out several thousand detailed inspections of building defects for private clients and insurance companies in respect the effect of subsidence on buildings and their foundations, impact or fire damage or other building defects.

We offer help and advice in the structural aspects of design and structural alterations for domestic and commercial buildings including extensions to existing buildings, barn conversions and the design of new buildings in and outside Sheffield.
